first of all, the traffic on the way to this show was horrible... fucking pomona fairplex or something was going on at the same time, and it was stop and go on the 10 freeeway the whole way there. i got to the glasshouse a few minutes before they went on though, so i lucked out. the crowd was full of hardcore kids, so i was curious to see how they would react to NM, but it went really well... there was a a decent sized pit throughout their set (even during empty?!). jeremy started off by dedicating the set to benjamin sadowski and johnny cash... early on jeff was having tech difficulties with his bass, but it was solved immediately... then everything went smoothly until the end of "death in numbers", where jeremy broke a string. things got kind of interesting... they had no back up guitar ready and only one song left, so for "so what" jeremy just used the mic and jumped down into the front row... it was really cool, people were screaming into the mic. then at the end of the song, jeremy got back on stage and staged dived into the crowd... it was fucking great. definitely a memorable show.
